The Grumbling Hump!

The dawning sun hasn't yet crested the distant horizon.
a beautiful sight reserves for the early wake.
the creator's view painted to embrace.
my sleeping feet pops with the morning cold,
my eyes still dimmed with the last moonlight comb.
i pondered and wondered at the vast wasteland.
an incredible work of art.

a reality dawn,
startled by a whip in my wrinkled ass.
a usaul morning greeting from my master's straw,
the reluctant rider who knows not the heap of his burden,
my hump a bit cobbled.
so hoity-toity about i proudly sy to myself,
"i'm better than the sheep they rear,
my meat a bit soured to their restless tongue.

a start of a journey,
a whip of a hundred turning.
in the middle of the flying pan,
the endless sunbaked trekking.
a bite of the scorpion queen,
dancing conquestly at my aching feet.
i swallowed the long pain
and faintly say "i'll rather have a crocodile take a bite of me"
will this journey come to an end i weep.

and then a whirlwind hope races over the dunes,
blindfolding the lazy fools,
dozing on the pleasure of my backbone.
now a time of rest
